Process Improvement Series

Many times , a team will start out on process improvement efforts without enough knowledge of  the current state they are attempting to change. There is no alignment on what works well in the current  environment, and shouldn’t be lost, and where are the failure points are that actually require attention.

The process improvement team will increase their effectiveness by acquiring the skills that allow them to:

  •  Accurately clarify the current state of their environment with logical process flows depicting only the work is being performed or needs to be performed without regard for how, when, or by whom work is being performed
  •  Transforming their logical model into its physical form to identify all the variations of how work is being performed so they can assess and pinpoint value add activities to retain as well as inconsistencies and / or failure point opportunities to change
  • Convert multiple opportunities into initiatives which can be prioritized based on objective criteria weighted by how well the initiative supports the objectives of the organization

During this 3 part webinar series you will learn:

  • How to build an end to end logical process models that accurately reflects the current state activities
  • How to build a physical model based on Brown Paper Modeling techniques to enable the team to assess strengths and weaknesses with the current processes
  • How to establish objective criteria to prioritize the identified improvement initiatives based on how well they support the corporate strategic direction
