JAD stands for Joint Application Design (aka Joint Application Development). It is a concept of collaborative development and decision making for project deliverables. It is conducted in a team setting and led by a neutral facilitator. It was created by IBM and Boeing in the late 1970s

What are the outputs from your Facilitated Meetings?
All Solutions Cube Group Facilitated Meetings create outputs called “deliverables”. The deliverables are specific to each Facilitated Meeting purpose. Deliverables are created using Electronic Flip Charting (EFC) and are produced in both hard and soft copy. Why does Solutions Cube Group charge a fixed fee vs. an hourly rate?
The success of any project Facilitated Meeting is dependent on how well the Facilitator and Project Team are prepared for the Facilitated Meeting. Solutions Cube Group realizes that planning and preparing for a Facilitated Meeting cannot be compromised and is therefore not negotiable. Many times, as Customers are looking for ways to reduce costs on facilitated meetings, the first place thing they consider is cutting out the planning and preparation time. Our fixed fee for each facilitated day includes all the time needed to adequately plan and prepare for a meeting as well as conduct each activity associated with the meeting.

What should I wear to the Facilitated Meeting?
We recommend that meeting participants dress business casual. Facilitated Meetings are intense and it is important for participants to be comfortable in order to remain focused throughout the entire meeting.
It is helpful to layer clothing so that you are comfortable throughout the day adding or removing layers as needed.
