Many business owners are reluctant to initiate change in their business due to the fear of the unknown, and the lack of proper tools and techniques to identify the right type of change and the best way to implement it. Additionally, due to the small business owner’s close proximity to the everyday operation of their business, and the strong sense of personal investment and ownership, it can be difficult to be comfortable to introduce change and effectively promoting their products and services. Taking no action at all should be expected to yield no change in results, and unfocused change, for change sake, is likely to produce undesirable results. Through our program, the Small Business Owner learns to actively promote their product / services, effective analyze their business, and identify the right changes and action steps to improve and expand their business.
The coaching engagement is specifically designed to meet each Small Business Owner’s unique needs. The program progresses from frequent on-site and face to face meetings to scheduled phone support meetings and continued assessments and guidance. During the initial meetings, Solutions Cube Group will provide a facilitator / coach to guide the creation of an individualized marketing / business plan. This plan provides:
• a baseline of the products and services currently being offered
• an alignment on the current and desired customer base
• an assessment of the competition and their impacts
• an understanding of the Strengths and Weaknesses the business currently possesses.
Through the addition of marketplace research, provided by the Solutions Cube Group support staff, the coach and Small Business Owner will identify goals and create specific action plans to positively impact the business results.

The coaching process provided by Solutions Cube Group does not replace the hands on management required by the Small Business Owner, throughout the process. The key to success in our coaching program is dependent upon the business owner’s active participation, accountability, and ownership of the plan details, as well as, an open and receptive attitude toward making changes and continually assessing the progress being made, and making adjustments, as needed, to achieve the desired results.
